You are on the web page of the Scheuring Lab. We perform atomic force microscopy (AFM) of biological samples. We have a particular interest in "the structure and assembly of membrane proteins in native membranes studied by atomic force microscopy".

Our research activity has three major axes:
- High-resolution AFM imaging
- AFM force spectroscopy
- Technical developments making AFM faster, more handy and integrated with other techniques
